Hot Pants Cherry!

Verrrrrrry excited!  I came across the gorgeous and talented Jemima Jones of Sparky Jones Accessories via Etsy, and always loved her work even though a lot of it wasn't very 'me'.  So one day I emailed her, asking if she could make me a bag in hot pink, red and black.  The rest was completely up to her, since she only uses upcycled fabric - but her flair for putting together fabrics and colours is astounding.

Well, here it is:

Robe ... and a giant Lobster

Anita and I decided to take a few days off and head over to Robe, situated on the Limestone Coast, around 4 1/2 hours away from Adelaide. I'd never been to Robe, but I'd heard all about the gorgeous food, wine and Mahalia Coffee - well, that's good enough for me!

We rented a house that was right on Lake Fellmongery. Anita took some fantastic pics, so I'll let them tell the story ...

The back of the house we stayed at - 'Lake's Edge'
Literally the view from the loungeroom! - Lake Fellmongery
The famous Obelisk!
Anita among the ruins ... Kangaroo Inn, abandoned in the late 1800s
Pffft, bar's closed!

The Big Lobster (Larry) at Kingston, SE - Australians love oversized man-made landmarks ... Larry was impressive as a kid, and is still impressive as an adult ;)
