ooo, it's 2012!

Welcome to 2012! I hope you like the 'new look' blog - something I've been meaning to do for some time ... being on holidays is the perfect excuse!

I have another week of hols (except for one half-day on Tuesday), and have a list of things I need to get done, including recording January's Cannibal Roses show, finishing off the 'Red' cross stitch kit, making wool dreads, getting ready for the Kids Cross Stitching Workshop ... oh, and probably another million things ;)

2011 has been wonderful, and I'm sure 2012 will be even better! I hope everyone reading this has many wonderful memories from the last year.

  4. The new look is great. I followed the link to the red cross-stitch - I am amazed at the perseverance you must have. I would have no idea how to do that at all, neither would I have the patience. I have an old (done in the 80s) needlepoint tapestry that was painted onto the canvas and I have always thought it would have been much better to have designed my own. Well done for doing so with your cross-stitch designs!
Good luck with the new year and all the creative things you have on the go.

  5. Thanks Mary! Seriously, cross stitch is MUCH easier than tapestry ... but a little slower ;)
