storenvy!

Has anyone here shopped on Storenvy? I feel I'm getting lost on Etsy, so thought I'd try another store ... what do you think?

My aim is to slowly transfer the kits to Storenvy to see how they go - they're already getting more daily views than Etsy, probably because Etsy has become so big that products get lost!

  1. I've never used storenvy. I know the search on Etsy could do with a lot of work, it's really hard to narrow keywords and such like I do on Ebay.

    1. I agree, Etsy has become cumbersome ... but then, I find EBay the same! Storenvy looks really good so far! :)

  3. I agree with Laura M. I find Etsy really cumbersome to use - I much prefer eBay for the search capabilities. But between eBay fees and PayPal fees, it pretty much sucks up most of your profits. I have no experience with but have heard of another storefront called Big Cartel. Good luck with finding the best place for your stuff - it's difficult, isn't it? :o(

    1. Thanks, yes it is difficult!

I did have a look at Big Cartel, but there are monthly fees if you have more than 5 listings. If I was selling consistently, then it would be worth paying $10/month for 25 listings, but at the moment I can't justify it! Storenvy is completely free ... apparently they make money from their printing services, so don't need to charge for the ecommerce side of their business ;)

    1. You could always give it a go too, Christine - it's free, so you have nothing to lose! ;)
